Puzzler Number 2

This is a magnified view of the head of a beetle. The scientific name for the genus translates to English as “4 eyes.” Yes, the insect typically has 4 compound eyes. It is often found on milkweed plants at the Sun Foundation in the summer. We may well encounter some of these as we walk along the trails. What family of beetles does this insect belong to? What is the scientific name of the genus?
